Not much to tell today as Wendy had to put in a full day at work, so Greg took to his bike and swanned. He visited the local museum which showed the history of the place and then went to Elsey Cemetery which was about 40 km round trip. The cemetery is the resting palce of the author of "We of the Never Never" first published in 1908, and others. Her name: Geannie Gunn. The book was made into a film in 1982.
After work, we jumped on the bikes and went for a swim at Bitter Springs, which was a lovely way to end the working day. You know the water is flowing, but just not how fast until you reach the end of the creek (part of Roper Creek) line and get out. It was crystal clear and warm.
Sitting outside the van eating dinner of homemade pizza whilst listening to Matt Scullion at the restaurant, all songs we heard last night; good just the same.
