While Greg trusts Wendy to cut his hair, Wendy does not reciprocate so off she went to the hairdresser at Casuarina Shopping Complex this morning. She tried to book two days ago and was told they don't take bookings, you just have to turn up which she did a bit before 9am and was third in line. They were short-staffed so Wendy was told to come back in 20-30 mins, which she did and had a haircut alright! Greg siad that he could have done the same thing for nothing using the clippers; and he probably could have. The lady took a bit more off than she asked for, however, in a couple of days it will look a little bit decent again. Greg rode in to have mornos with Wendy and then rode back into the city via East Point. It's got to one of the nicests rides around; along the top of cliffs and through coconut palm street gardens. Wendy, meanwhile browsed the shops at a leisurely pace then came home.
After lunch we had an LLD under the fans, then had a relaxing afternoon before driving out to the Malak Night Markets as we thought they may have something interesting for dinner. Well, there were about 10-12 stalls, and most of them were food. Having had a not so good food experience at Mindil Beach Markets on Thursday night, we decided to hit the city for dinner. We tried to find the Thai 'hole-in-the-wall' restaurant on Mitchell Street, (our favourite when we lived here) however, it has been overtaken by and Oriental food 'hole-in-the-wall'. So we found another Thai restaurant and had dinner there. Wendy ordered Thai Fried Rice with Chicken and got Pad Thai Chicken; although it was tasty, it had too much sauce. Greg had a fairly authentic seafood curry.
We had a wander around the city for a while before heading home.
