Introduction - 2021 Long Trip
As with most trips in the last 12-18 months, this trip has been on our wish list for sometime now, in the hope we would once again be able to travel freely (relatively). Much of it we were supposed to do during May-Aug 2019, however, Wendy's back surgery got in the way of that. It was then planned for early 2020, however, COVID-19 got in the way of that. So, here we are at the end of the first month of the second quarter of 2021! If the trip comes together as we have planned, it will be some sort of miracle. This is a big picture itinerary; the fine print taking about 150 days, IFF (if and only if) COVID-19 stays away and the borders remain open, the roads are passable, and neither of us gets homesick:
