19-33 degC, foggy to start with, fine and sunny for the rest of the day
This
morning was the first time in the month that we've been away that we woke to full cloud cover albeit
very high. It was accompanied by a rather heavy fog which soon drifted past us.
The clouds also burnt off leaving a bright sunny day.
We
both did our normal walks and then split up for most of the day. Wendy set to
work while Greg rode to the Thermal Springs at Mataranka Homestead. They were
exactly the temperature he likes his swimming pool water, lukewarm. It
was so good he went again in the afternoon, but this time not as far, Bitter
Springs, 2 km down the road.
We’re
really enjoying it here so we’ve booked for an extra two nights.
As
it’s a Thursday we had dinner at the in-house restaurant. The entertainment was
excellent - Matt Scullion, Gold Guitar winner with 21 number one hits. Food wise
Greg’s barra and veg were great but they did overcook Wendy’s steak a little.
The bain marie veg and salad bar was a nice change so we were well fed when we
waddled home.
Just had to get a shot of this street at Mataranka, not a very exciting looking street though
Cauliflower soup (if it were pea soup, it would be green!)

Tonight's entertainment, so much better than last night, good old country music
