Day 34: Mon 24 May - Pine Creek

16-33 degC, sunny and warm in the afternoon, to a pleasant early evening

Not much news today. Wendy needed to work most of the day followed by some domestic admin.  Greg rode out to Umbrawarra Gorge, a 65 km round trip.  The road out was mostly dirt, corrugated, sandy in places and dusty in others so it was a bit challenging, however he enjoyed every minute.  The gorge was really nice too, with lots of different colours in the walls and quite a bit of water in the creek.  He took his mornos but was quite peckish by the time he got home after lunch.  So much so, that he grabbed some $ and headed back into town for a treat. They had some nice looking homemade yoghurt in small containers so he had a mango and coconut one, very nice.

A slow afternoon was had with LLDs, exercises, packing up, etc. We were treated to an absolutely beautiful sunset this evening; pity we only have our iPhones to capture it.
